News from the bakery News Kingsclere Sustainable Market visit Our delicious range of baked goods went back out on the road on Sunday, 11 July. We visited Kingsclere Sustainable Market, selling our range of breads, rolls and speciality loaves. Our tasty muffins and biscuits were also available for visitors to the Fieldgate Centre to enjoy alongside a cup of tea or coffee. The event was a great opportunity for us to talk about the ethos of our bakery and why it was set up. Dylan Needham, Artisan Bakery Manager, said: A huge thank you to everyone who purchased products on the day and, by doing so, supported our work. Bread & Beyond was set up to provide work-skills training to Prior’s Court’s young people who have severe autism and complex learning difficulties. Baking is an activity which suits the strength and skills of people with autism; highly process driven, practical and with an end product which is rewarding and motivating. All Bread & Beyond products are free from additives and preservatives and are best eaten on day of purchase. See the “Where to buy” section of our website for our current list of stockists.
