Our brand new state-of-the-art artisan bakery has only been making bread for a few weeks but following a visit by the Food Standards Agency, we have been awarded the maximum 5 stars.

The rating is based upon;

  • handling of food
  • how food is stored
  • how food is prepared
  • cleanliness of facilities
  • how food safety is managed

This is a real testament to our staff members who have put all the correct processes in place, and also to our young people who have proven their ability to follow very strict, industry standard hygiene procedures in a commercial bakery environment. Well done everyone.

We are very excited to be taking the next step in our journey to selling our bread commercially, whilst at the same time providing valuable work experience opportunities for our young people with severe autism.
