Night Baker Scott joined the Bread & Beyond team at the end of 2019 to help Bakery Manager, Dylan, meet the rising demand for our baked goods from our ever-growing customer base. Scott spent five year's previously working at a Sainsbury's in-store bakery before finding himself drawn to the opportunity of joining Bread & Beyond:

Working for Bread & Beyond the possibilities are endless. We're a scratch bakery so everything is done by hand. It's a more relaxed environment and you are a lot more involved with the process and science behind the bread. I'm learning a lot while I complete my NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Baking and I love having the opportunity to develop products with Dylan - putting our ideas together and making something new and delicious.

I also love getting involved in the young people's baking sessions, which is something I've never experienced before. Working with people with autism is very interesting and no two days are the same. It's very rewarding watching the Trainee Bakers learn a task and complete it.
